Here’s our up-to-the-minute what’s-going-on with us here in Waterloo and across the wine and craft beverage industry:
Lisa and Bobbi recently stopped in at Abermarle Ciderworks (and Vintage Virginia Apples) where we were fortunate enough to taste some incredible cider and gain insight from owner Charlotte Shelton herself. Specially chosen juice combinations and skilled craftsmanship make for high-end, delectable ciders!
This Veteran's Day, take a moment to thank the people you know who served their country to protect the freedoms we all too frequently take for granted. Waterloo's own Annette Lutz was a featured guest at Frank Knight Elementary School where she showed off some of her service memorabilia, helping a new generation understand what our Veterans did for us in the past and what our service-members do for us every day. (Like this post to thank Annette for her service and if you think her escort Yardley is the cutest ever!)
Waterloo is proud to be involved in many worthwhile community events and causes. Youth in our area recently participated in the annual "Finger Lakes Works with their Hands" event, which introduces them to skilled trades and advanced manufacturing careers. Perhaps one of them will be a future Waterloo Container employee!
This month's Wines and Vines Magazine showcases some innovative packaging including a Shrink Sleeve and Print combination package created right here at Waterloo Container! Team up with us to create a great looking package today!
